Your trip

Minimum 2-day rental.

Pick a date and time to see how your pickup will work.
Every Quick Drive vehicle is unlocked remotely at your selected time. Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET, a Quick Drive attendant meets you at the location for a quick walk-around. Sundays and outside those hours the vehicle is unlocked for you without anyone on site — after-hours pickup is available on request. The same applies to your selected return time.

About you

Must be at least 18, or the minimum age set on the selected vehicle.

Documents & insurance

JPEG, PNG, HEIC, or PDF. Up to 5MB.

Do you have full-coverage auto insurance?

Full coverage means your policy carries comprehensive AND collision. Collision is the part that covers damage to our vehicle, so a liability-only policy does not qualify.

Payment Encrypted by Clover

Your card is authorized at booking for the rental, coverage, and a refundable security deposit. When we approve, we charge the full amount including the deposit, then refund the deposit typically within a few business days of a clean return. If we decline, the entire hold is released and you are never charged.

Rental Agreement

Quick Drive Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement is between Quick Drive Car Rental ("Quick Drive", "we", "us") and the renter identified on the booking ("you", "renter"). By submitting the booking with the agreement checkbox checked, you agree to all of the terms below for the dates of your reservation.

1. Parties and vehicle

The vehicle identified in your booking confirmation is the property of Quick Drive Car Rental, 1306 South 16th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401. You are renting that vehicle for the dates and pickup location shown on your confirmation.

2. Driver eligibility

The renter must be the driver. The minimum age is 21 (25 for the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X). You must hold a valid government-issued driver's license and present it at pickup. Quick Drive may refuse the rental if your license is expired, suspended, or otherwise invalid.

3. Insurance / coverage

You must satisfy ONE of the following before you drive:

  • Your own full-coverage policy. "Full coverage" means an auto insurance policy in your name that includes both comprehensive and collision coverage and is in force for every day of your rental. You must provide the declarations page for that policy. An insurance ID card is not enough: it does not show whether you carry collision, and collision is the part that covers damage to our vehicle. Quick Drive may decline the rental, or place you on Quick Drive coverage, if what you provide does not show comprehensive and collision in force for your rental dates.
  • Quick Drive coverage at a flat $25 per day. Coverage is sold in whole-day units; any partial day is charged as a full day. There is no partial-day or hourly coverage.

If you rent on your own policy, the following also apply:

  • Your policy is primary. Any coverage Quick Drive carries is excess and applies only after your policy is exhausted.
  • You authorize us to deal with your insurer directly. You authorize Quick Drive to contact your insurance company, report a loss involving the vehicle, and file and pursue a claim for damage to the vehicle. You assign to Quick Drive your right to payment under that policy for damage to the vehicle, up to the amount you owe us.
  • You agree to cooperate with that claim. Report the loss to your insurer promptly, give a truthful statement when asked, and sign the forms your insurer requires.
  • You remain personally responsible. If your insurer denies the claim, delays it, applies a deductible, or pays less than the amount owed, the balance is yours.
  • You confirm the policy is real and applicable: valid, not lapsed or suspended, and covering your operation of a vehicle rented from Quick Drive.

4. Security deposit

A refundable security deposit of $500 is included in the card authorization at the time you book, alongside the rental and any coverage fees. The same deposit applies to every vehicle in the fleet. After you return the vehicle, Quick Drive reviews its condition and accounts for any late return, extension, refuel, tolls, tickets, or damage. Any such fees defined in this agreement are deducted first, and the remaining deposit is then refunded to your card. Refunds are processed after this review, typically within a few business days of drop-off.

If you rent on your own full-coverage policy, no security deposit is held. Damage is invoiced to you under section 9 instead.

5. Returning the vehicle

  • Return to the pickup location at or before the time shown on your booking.
  • Late return: $25 per hour for each additional hour past the return time.
  • If the vehicle is not returned and no contact is made within 24 hours of the scheduled return, a police report will be filed.
  • Always refuel before returning. Unfueled returns are subject to a $75 refuel fee.
  • Extensions: you may request more time subject to availability. Approved extensions are billed at the vehicle's daily rate plus any coverage, and your security deposit stays held through the new return date.
  • Photograph the vehicle from your reservation page when you drop it off. Most returns here are self-service, which means nobody from Quick Drive is standing there to check it in with you, and we photograph it when we reach it. Your own photos are the record of the condition it was in at the moment you left it.

6. No smoking

No smoking of any kind (cigarette, vape, or marijuana) is permitted in any vehicle. Violation results in a $50 cleaning fee.

7. Pets

Pets are welcome with a carrier or seat cover. Pet hair, dander, or pet-related odor that requires extra detailing results in a $150 cleaning fee.

8. Use restrictions

No off-roading, beach driving, dirt roads, or rough terrain. No towing. No racing or motorsport use. No commercial use (e.g. rideshare, delivery) without prior written approval. Driving outside the United States is not permitted.

9. Damage

You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle that occurs during your rental, whoever caused it and whether or not another driver was involved.

Damage charges are itemized and may include parts and labor to repair, towing and storage, loss of use at the vehicle's daily rate for each day it is off the road, and a $25 administrative fee.

How the condition is recorded. Quick Drive's pickup is usually self-service: the vehicle unlocks for you at your pickup time and, outside 9am to 5pm, nobody from Quick Drive is present. So the record is built from both sides:

  • You photograph the vehicle at pickup, from your reservation page, before you drive away, and confirm the condition you received it in. That confirmation is timestamped and recorded against your booking with the version of this agreement you accepted.
  • You may photograph it again when you drop it off. This is optional, it does not hold up your deposit, and it is your own record of the condition you left it in.
  • Quick Drive photographs it when the vehicle is checked in, which on a self-service return may be some time after you have left.

Damage is assessed by comparing those records. Where you have taken no photos at pickup, the only record of the vehicle's prior condition is Quick Drive's own, and damage found at check-in is assessed against that. Quick Drive will provide the photographs a damage charge is based on at the time the charge is raised; you do not have to ask for them.

How damage is billed. Damage is invoiced to you after the vehicle is returned and is due within 3 business days. If a security deposit is held on your booking, it is applied first and the invoice covers the balance. Bookings on your own full-coverage policy carry no deposit, so the full amount is invoiced. You authorize Quick Drive to charge the card on file for damage assessed under this section.

If it is not settled. If 3 business days pass and you have neither paid the invoice nor agreed a payment arrangement with us, Quick Drive may file a claim directly with your insurance company under section 3, refer the balance for collection, or both. Filing a claim does not pause or reduce what you owe; any insurance payment we receive is credited against your balance.

10. If you are in an accident

If the vehicle is in a collision, is damaged, is broken into, or is stolen, you must:

  • Stop, and call 911 if anyone may be hurt.
  • Call the police and request a report, whatever the apparent damage, and give us the report number once you have it.
  • Notify Quick Drive at (910) 228-9705 as soon as it is safe to do so, and no later than 24 hours after the incident.
  • Photograph the vehicle, the scene, and any other vehicle involved, before anything is moved if it is safe to do so.
  • Exchange name, phone number, insurer, policy number, and plate number with any other driver, and send those details to us.
  • Do not admit fault, and do not settle with anyone on Quick Drive's behalf.
  • Do not have the vehicle repaired, towed to a shop of your choosing, or disposed of without our written approval.

Leaving the scene, failing to report the incident, or failing to obtain a police report can cause your insurer to deny the claim, which leaves the entire amount with you.

11. Tolls, tickets, and fines

All tolls, parking tickets, red-light or speed-camera citations, and other fines incurred during your rental are your responsibility and will be billed to the card on file as we receive them, plus a $25 administrative fee per incident.

12. Taxes and fees

Taxes included. The rate you are quoted is the rate you pay. All applicable state and local vehicle rental taxes are already built into your total, and Quick Drive does not add a separate tax line or a card processing fee at checkout. The only amounts that can be added to your booking are the fees defined elsewhere in this agreement (coverage, late return, refuel, smoking, pet cleaning, damage, tolls, tickets, and fines) and the optional airport pickup fee if you choose it.

13. Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup; the card hold is released immediately. Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup may be subject to a one-day rate charge. Call (910) 228-9705 for help within the cutoff window.

14. Authorized drivers

Only the renter named on the booking may drive the vehicle, unless a second driver has been pre-approved in writing.

15. Liability disclaimer

Quick Drive Car Rental is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including but not limited to lost wages, missed flights or events, or trip delays. Roadside assistance, where offered, is provided on a best-effort basis.

16. Electronic consent

By submitting the booking with the agreement checkbox checked, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Rental Agreement. Your consent is legally binding under the federal E-SIGN Act and is recorded on your booking with a timestamp, your IP address, and the version of the agreement you accepted.
