Privacy Policy
Effective: June 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Quick Drive Car Rental (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit quickdrivecarrental.com or interact with our services. We are not in the business of selling your data — the information we collect supports your reservation and our operations.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us at booking. When you submit a reservation we collect:
- Name, date of birth, age, email, and phone number;
- Driver’s license image and, if you indicate you carry full coverage, your insurance card;
- Payment card details (entered into a secure Clover iframe — we never see your full card number);
- Trip details: vehicle, pickup location, pickup and return dates, coverage choice, optional notes.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Site we may collect:
- IP address and approximate location;
- Browser type, device type, operating system;
- Pages visited, time spent, and the page that referred you;
- The timestamp and IP address of any rental agreement you electronically sign.
Information from third parties. Our payment processor (Clover, by Fiserv) returns transaction status, card brand, and the last four digits of your card. We do not receive your full card number.
2. How we use information
- To process and manage your reservations, including communication about pickup, return, and post-rental settlements;
- To authorize and capture payment through Clover, and to settle the refundable deposit;
- To investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud or misuse of the vehicles or the Site;
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
- To improve the Site and our service.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run the business:
- Payment processor. Clover (Fiserv) processes your card. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Email and hosting providers. Our website host and the email service that delivers our transactional emails see only what is needed to operate those services.
- Legal compliance. We may share information with law enforcement or as otherwise required by law, including in response to subpoenas or court orders, and to enforce our Rental Agreement (for example, in response to traffic citations or vehicle damage).
- Business transfer. If we are acquired or merged, customer records may transfer with the business under the same protections.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for targeted advertising.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies to keep you moving through the reservation flow and to remember your selections. We may also use minimal analytics to understand which pages are visited. You can disable cookies in your browser; the booking form may not work without them.
5. Data retention
We keep reservation and customer records for as long as needed to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal obligations, typically seven years after your last rental. You may request earlier deletion of records that are not legally required by emailing service@quickdrivecarrental.com.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, isolated payment iframes that keep card data out of our systems, server-side firewalls, and limited employee access. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee that information you transmit to us is immune from interception.
7. Your choices
- Access and correction. Contact us to request a copy of the information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct it.
- Marketing emails. We do not send marketing emails. Transactional emails (booking confirmations, refund summaries) are part of the rental and cannot be opted out of while you have an active reservation.
- State-specific rights. Residents of certain states have additional rights regarding their personal data. To exercise those rights, email us.
8. Children’s privacy
Quick Drive’s services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age required to rent.
9. International users
Quick Drive operates only in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., understand that your information will be processed in the U.S. under applicable U.S. laws.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
11. Contact
