Terms of Service

Welcome to Quick Drive Car Rental. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of quickdrivecarrental.com and any related services we offer (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

Substantive terms of any rental you book through the Site — vehicle use, deposit, insurance, charges, damage liability, and similar — are set out in the Quick Drive Rental Agreement, which you electronically sign before each rental. These Terms govern your use of the Site itself.

1. Who we are

Quick Drive Car Rental is a vehicle rental business based at 1306 South 16th Street, Wilmington, North Carolina 28401, with vehicle pickups at our office on South 16th Street, Wilmington. Airport pickup at Wilmington International Airport (ILM) is available on request for an added fee. Contact: (910) 228-9705 or service@quickdrivecarrental.com.

2. Eligibility

To book a rental through the Site you must meet the minimum age required for the specific vehicle you select (shown on the booking form). You must hold a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance (or accept our supplemental no-coverage daily fee), and a credit or debit card in your name.

3. Account and bookings

You do not need a permanent account to book a rental; each booking is initiated by submitting the reservation form. When you submit, we authorize a hold on your card equal to the rental total plus a refundable deposit, and email you a confirmation. Your reservation is not final until we approve it; the hold is released if we decline.

4. Honest information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when booking. Submitting false information is grounds for us to decline or cancel the reservation without refund.

5. Rental Agreement

Before each rental we ask you to electronically accept the Quick Drive Rental Agreement. That agreement, not these Terms, governs the substantive rights and responsibilities of the rental — vehicle use, restrictions, fuel, mileage, damage liability, deposit handling, late returns, and similar. The version you accept is timestamped and recorded against your booking.

6. Charges and payment

Card authorizations, captures, refunds, and the refundable deposit are processed through Clover (a Fiserv company), our payment processor. We follow the schedule of fees described in the Rental Agreement and our published settings (no-coverage daily fee, late-return fee, smoking and pet fees, refueling fee, and any cleaning or toll-pass surcharges). You authorize us to charge the card you provide for the rental total, any deposit forfeit, and any post-rental fees you incur as described in the Rental Agreement.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your reservation through the self-service link in your confirmation email up to the cutoff period stated in the Rental Agreement. After the cutoff, please call (910) 228-9705.

8. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for the purpose of booking and managing your own rentals. You will not:

  • Interfere with the Site’s operation, security, or performance;
  • Scrape, harvest, or republish the Site’s content without our written consent;
  • Use the Site to defraud, harass, or impersonate any person;
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to access non-public portions of the Site.

9. Intellectual property

Our logos, photography, vehicle descriptions, text, and code are our property or that of our licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute them without permission.

10. Disclaimers

We provide the Site “as is” and make no warranties about its uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or freedom from errors. Vehicle availability shown on the Site is approximate until confirmed at booking.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to lost wages, missed travel, or trip delays. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us under the rental that gave rise to the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or the Rental Agreement, or your misuse of the Site.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to resolve any dispute first by contacting us directly. If we cannot resolve it, any unresolved dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Hanover County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
